1. Who I am

Content with Kelsey is run by Kelsey Brown, based in Texas, USA. I share what I'm learning about building an online business: money, content, AI tools, and the mindset behind it. This policy covers this website, my email list, and any products, templates, courses, or events you get from me.

When I say "I," "me," or "Content with Kelsey," I mean my business. When I say "you," I mean anyone visiting this site or buying from me.

2. What I collect

Information you give me

  • Contact details: your name, email address, and phone number if you choose to share it.
  • Purchase details: what you bought, when, and your billing name and address. Card numbers go straight to the payment processor and never reach me.
  • Account details: login email and password for any course or member area (passwords are stored encrypted, so I can't see them).
  • What you send me: form answers, survey or quiz responses, DMs, emails, and anything you share in a community or live event.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and browser type, pages viewed, how you found the site, and approximate location based on IP address.
  • Email activity, such as opens and link clicks.
  • Cookies and pixels described in section 5.

3. How I use it

  • To send the freebies, newsletters, and emails you signed up for.
  • To deliver products, courses, templates, and event access you purchase.
  • To process payments, send receipts, and handle refunds.
  • To answer your questions and give support.
  • To understand which content is helpful so I can make more of it.
  • To show my ads to people who might find them useful, including people who have visited this site.
  • To keep the site secure and meet legal and tax obligations.

I will only share your name, story, or results publicly (for example, as a testimonial) with your permission.

4. Who I share it with

I don't sell or rent your personal information. I share it only with the tools that help me run the business, and only what they need:

ToolWhat it does for me
GoHighLevelWebsite pages, forms, checkout, course hosting, email, and my contact list
Payment processors (such as Stripe)Securely processing payments
Analytics and ad platforms (such as Google and Meta)Measuring site visits and showing my ads to the right people
Video and meeting tools (such as Zoom)Hosting live workshops and calls
AI tools (such as Claude)Helping me draft and organize content. I don't put your personal information into AI tools unless it's needed to answer your request

I may also share information if the law requires it, to protect someone's safety, or if the business is ever sold. If that happens, this policy keeps applying to your information.

5. Cookies and tracking

This site uses cookies (small files saved in your browser) and pixels to keep you logged in, remember your settings, measure traffic, and see which ads and emails are working. Some of these come from third parties like Google and Meta, which may use them to show you ads on other sites.

You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, opt out of personalized ads at Google Ad Settings and in your Meta ad preferences, or use the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out (link). Blocking cookies may stop some parts of the site from working, like staying logged in.

6. Emails and texts

If you join my list, you'll get content, behind-the-scenes updates, and occasional offers. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. If you opt in to texts, reply STOP at any time to opt out. Message and data rates may apply. I'll still send receipts and account emails after you unsubscribe from marketing.

8. Live events and communities

Live workshops and calls may be recorded and shared with attendees or buyers. I'll tell you before recording starts, and you can keep your camera off and use the chat instead. Anything you post in a group or community space is visible to the other members, so share only what you're comfortable with others seeing.

9. Keeping it safe

I use encrypted connections (HTTPS), trusted platforms with their own security programs, and limited access to your information. No system is perfectly secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect your data and will let you know promptly if a breach affects your information.

10. How long I keep it

  • Email list information: until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it.
  • Course and member accounts: for as long as you have access, then deleted on request.
  • Purchase records: as long as needed for tax and accounting, typically up to 7 years.

11. Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask me to:

  • Show you the personal information I have about you
  • Correct anything that's inaccurate
  • Delete your information
  • Send you a copy of your information
  • Stop sending you marketing messages or using your information for targeted ads

If you live in Texas, California, the EU, the UK, or another place with privacy laws, you may have additional rights under those laws, including the right to appeal a decision about your request or to complain to your local data protection authority. Email me to make any request. I'll respond within 30 days and won't treat you differently for using your rights.

12. Children

This site is made for adults building businesses. It isn't directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given me personal information, email me and I'll delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

If I update this policy, I'll change the "Last updated" date at the top. If the changes are significant, I'll let you know by email before they take effect.
